Stair climber for moving in buildings without a lift
When you move in a building without a lift, the heaviest item usually means three people on the stairs and scratched walls. The electric stair climber carries that item instead, while one person walks beside it with the remote in hand.

What changes on a move
- Fewer people on the stairs. Instead of two to four people on one item, one person runs the machine.
- The load doesn't shift. It is strapped in, and the platform stays level even on the slope of the stairs.
- Walls and stairs stay intact. Rubber tracks rest on several edges at once and don't knock them the way hand truck wheels do.
- Backs carry nothing. The workplace safety recommendation is up to 25 kg per worker, and the platform carries up to 250 kg.
What it carries
Washing machines, fridges, wardrobes and other heavy items up to 250 kg. The platform is 66 × 66–97 cm with extendable sides, and the folded machine fits in a van alongside the rest of the move.
Rent or buy
For an occasional heavy item, rental is enough: €79 a day, €129 a weekend, €395 a week or €790 a month, excluding VAT. If you move people every week, look at buying at the promotional price of €2,200 and work out the payback in the savings calculator.
Frequently asked questions
Can it handle narrow or winding stairs?
Folded, it is 65.5 cm wide, and the platform is 66 cm wide. It turns on the spot on a landing and drives on wheels on the flat. For very narrow stairs, send a photo or the width in centimetres and we'll tell you straight away.
Does it damage the stairs?
The tracks are rubber and rest on several edges at once, so they don't knock the stairs the way hand truck wheels do.
Do I need training?
A short one, 3 minutes. Every rental comes with video instructions and a one-page safety sheet.
What if the load weighs more than 250 kg?
The machine's capacity is 250 kg and we don't go over that limit. If you're not sure how much a load weighs, send us the model or dimensions before the job.
