Moving a safe upstairs
A 150 or 200 kg safe in an office without a lift usually means several people on the stairs and a risk to the stairwell. The electric stair climber carries that load instead, strapped in on a level platform.

Before the move, send us
- the weight and dimensions of the load
- the width of the stairs and the number of floors
- a photo of the stairs, if they are narrow or winding
Frequently asked questions
What if the load weighs more than 250 kg?
The machine's capacity is 250 kg and we don't go over that limit. If you're not sure how much a load weighs, send us the model or dimensions before the job.
Can it handle narrow or winding stairs?
Folded, it is 65.5 cm wide, and the platform is 66 cm wide. It turns on the spot on a landing and drives on wheels on the flat. For very narrow stairs, send a photo or the width in centimetres and we'll tell you straight away.
Does it damage the stairs?
The tracks are rubber and rest on several edges at once, so they don't knock the stairs the way hand truck wheels do.
