How the stair climber works
The tracks grip the stair edges.
The rubber tracks rest on several steps at once. They don't jump from edge to edge and don't scratch stone or wood.
You walk beside it, not below it.
The remote sets direction and speed. Nobody carries the load on their back and nobody stands below it.
The load stays level.
The tracks tilt with the stairs while a cylinder under the platform keeps levelling it. Watch the spirit level on the washing machine: the bubble doesn't move.
Fourth floor. One person.
The emergency stop button is always at hand. On a landing it turns on the spot and carries on.

Frequently asked questions
Can I try it before renting or buying?
Yes. In Split and the surrounding area you can try the machine yourself, on your own stairs. Tell us what you're carrying and to which floor and we'll arrange a time.
How is it different from a stair-climbing hand truck?
A regular stair hand truck climbs on wheels, so it hits the edges and tilts the load. Nivotrak runs on rubber tracks, carries up to 250 kg and keeps the platform level.
Can it handle narrow or winding stairs?
Folded, it is 65.5 cm wide, and the platform is 66 cm wide. It turns on the spot on a landing and drives on wheels on the flat. For very narrow stairs, send a photo or the width in centimetres and we'll tell you straight away.
How long does it run on one charge?
The 13 Ah battery runs for about 2 to 2.5 hours, and the 22.5 Ah battery for 3.2 to 4 hours. The exact time depends on the load and the number of steps. Tell us what you're carrying and to which floor and we'll tell you which one you need.
Do I need training?
A short one, 3 minutes. Every rental comes with video instructions and a one-page safety sheet.
Does it damage the stairs?
The tracks are rubber and rest on several edges at once, so they don't knock the stairs the way hand truck wheels do.
How heavy is it and how do I transport it?
It weighs about 54 kg. Folded, it measures 124 × 65.5 × 37 cm and fits in a van, and on the flat it drives on wheels.
Do you deliver outside Split?
Delivery is included in the wider Split area. Outside it the customer pays for delivery, and we agree the price in advance. You can also collect the machine in Split, as it fits in a van when folded.
